Job Description & Responsibilities
You will be working part time assisting our lawyers in research and fact-finding, and taking care of other library routines. KM trainees also help to manage the library collections (electronic & physical), edit pieces of news, perform information searches, compile research materials, etc. The duration of the employment and your working hours will be agreed on separately. However, the preferred duration of the traineeship is 12 months.
Skills & Requirements
As this is a trainee position, we do not expect you to know everything, but to ensure that you will be able to succeed in your duties, we do require:
> at least 150 study credits before starting
> genuine interest in business law and legal knowledge
management
> fluency in Finnish and English (Swedish and other languages
would be considered a bonus)

> ability to take initiative
> good interpersonal skills

We are currently looking for a legal tech trainee to join our Legal Tech team in September 2025.
As a legal tech trainee you will assists our lawyers and support teams as a part of our Legal Tech team in various legal tech projects. The tasks will vary but might include, for example, working with AI-assisted reviews, legal technology landscape follow-up, automating tasks, documents and processes with automation tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, co-organising innovation and technology-related training, and assisting in building queries, searches and custom solutions. Ideally, you are a law student with a strong interest in technology, or an information technology student with a keen interest in legal matters.

Our Public Procurement Practice
We have an exceptional Public Procurement Practice, which is part of Hannes Snellman’s IP & Technology Team. Our mandates range from advising contracting authorities on their most complex procurements to offering strategic advice and assisting in negotiations and distressed contractual relationships. We also support suppliers in tendering competitions by outlining strategies, assisting in negotiations, preparing bids, and handling various disputes. In addition, we advise clients on public procurement aspects of large infrastructure or M&A projects and regularly investigate in-house relationships and contract amendments. This variety keeps our work interesting and versatile. We frequently cooperate with other teams within our firm, as there are many angles closely associated with public procurement, such as disputes, technology, competition, and real assets.
